About Me

My name is Lucy Baker and I am a media student at Sunderland college, I am currently in my second year of studying Level 3 Creative Media and I hope to go on to study Fashion Journalism at Sunderland University. I have always been interested in the media industry for as long as I can remember whilst being captivated by fashion and all the surrounding industries. I am very passionate about creating any projects based around a fashion theme, whether this be a magazine, website, podcast or a blog. During my almost two years studying media, I have completed multiple projects like a documentary on culture in the digital age, a TV advert on a smile campaign. As well as this I have constructed my own website on the topic of global warming and climate change. Currently I am working on creating another documentary surrounding the subject of regional identity that will be on how fashion has evolved in the North East of England with a focus on local and sustainable fashion brands.
